In Jbel Toubkal National Park and the surrounding mountains there are the most amazing trekking opportunities. These mountains are inhabited by the Berber people who have been living in this rough terrain for centuries. They mainly cultivate walnuts, cherries, apples, apricots, peaches and pears as well as tend to their flocks of sheep and goats. In the national park are a variety of plant and animal life.
